The Hot Chick Politic Show | Basic Human Connection

New Sacramento podcast "The Hot Chick Politic Show." HCP delivers informed conversations about society, charity, education, and small business. One of our mantras is "think globally, but act locally." We believe, here at HCP, that by getting familiar with the people associated with these categories (the doers) we can grow a more compassionate society. We would love to see voter turn out grow with every election, and for America to become a voting culture. Now, we have all heard the history about winning the right to vote, but less than half of all Americans actually vote. We can do this. Please take a minute to check out The Hot Chick Politic Show and listen for yourself ☺

The Hot Chick Politic Show | Your Weekly Dose of Basic Human Connection

Dec 5, 2016

Hi Friends,

Today's episode is about the aftermath of the presidential election. We have worked so hard, for generations, and now we are faced with so much work that needs to be done. I offer my thoughts on what we need to do and we thank everyone who is motivated to continue this journey to understand our sophisticated society.

Sincerely,

Tami Diane

Hi Friends,

Can we agree to try and be more politically correct? It is no coincidence that the word polite and politics are related. To be politically minded, or correct is polite. Therefore, it is impolite to use offensive language amongst ppl in the community or workplace.

YOU are not Bill Mahr. He can be politically incorrect because he has a fan base that lets him do so. To be politically incorrect at, say, work, then you are just an impolite asshole.

Enjoy the Show,

Tami Diane

How To Talk About Racism Part 3

Nov 9, 2016

We've got our work cut out for us. A little less than half of Americans are blind to institutional -isms that are all to clear and apparent to the rest of us. We need to dig deep. Start and continue conversations with these people. They are not all bad, they are just unaware and are ruthlessly holding on to an American Dream Ideal that excludes/disheartens a majority of Americans. This ideal is buried into the psyche of those privileged enough to accept this ideal as a universal truth. It is not. We need to skillfully target and awaken our fellow Americans. It is our duty. We have come this far, we cannot let this set back defeat us.

I have started a series on The Hot Chick Politic Show about Racism. My goal is to give everyone conversational tools and confidence to communicate with one another on a deeper level of understanding than ever seen before on this planet.

Each podcast is 8 min in which I read excerpts from books that everyone should read about -isms. Starting with racism.
This first series is featured a book named "Why are All the Black Kids Sitting Together In The Cafeteria?" By Beverly Tatum
This can be sort of like a book club. I will introduce books, Read excerpts for those who want the edited version, And encourage open dialogue throughout.

We are in this together,
Tami Diane

WHAT WE ALL NEED TO UNDERSTAND ABOUT RACISM part 1

Oct 17, 2016

Hi Friends,

EXCITING NEWS from The Hot Chick Politic Show

I am a part of a Hillary super supporter group and we call ourselves The 3 HILLARY-teers.

Our recent grassroots campaign activity has gained interest in France  🇫🇷In fact, a French film crew from award winning news magazine show, Sept á Huit shot a documentary that debuted today, 10/30/2016.

The film crew set up in my office and filmed for the show while I recorded this episode. So today I want to offer you the unedited and uncut version of this podcast and know that I was also being filmed for the television program. It was so fun and I didn't hold back.

Enjoy,

Tami Diane

Hi Friends,

Today's show is about a very important Congressional race.  CA District 4 is home to CA Gold Country and its natural resources help make up the water supply throughout CA. One candidate has a scientific approach to saving our forests and protecting our watershed and the other has a more business approach that has more to do with investments than the environment.

Enjoy!

Tami Diane

If you or someone you know is a firefighter in CA, you need to know the stark difference between Derlet's environmental plan and that of his opponent.
